Ndey Inam Deen, better known as Inam, is an incoming International Studies student at American University with a passion for international relations, human rights, art, and culture. Her dream is to pursue a career in international law, driven by a passion for protecting the voices of those who cannot speak for themselves and working to create tangible change that ensures that justice is guaranteed for all.
In her quest to shed light on both local and global issues, Inam has dedicated herself to gaining experience and knowledge in her field of interest through both personal research and hand-on experience. Most notably, she travelled to Las Vegas with Howard Community College to volunteer with local non-profit organizations and charities serving migrants, homeless youth, and other vulnerable communities in southern Nevada. She also served as the treasurer of her school’s American Sign Language Club. In her free time, she enjoys figure skating, drawing, and learning French.
Through this blog, Inam hopes to contribute fresh perspectives to both the legal field and the arts, aiming to inspire conversations that lead to meaningful change. She also hopes to act as a source of inspiration and representation for young women, particularly those from underserved groups who also dream of pursuing international relations or diplomacy.
Inam is open to both work and connection. If you would like to get in touch with her, you may reach her via her email: byinamdeen@gmail.com.
